Black Myth: Wukong: give the next three boss attempts a purpose
Watch one sequence, test a short response, and use spells to support a plan instead of spending every resource in the opening exchange.

Repeating a boss fight can feel productive because you are doing something difficult. Sometimes it is only repetition. If every attempt starts with the same spells, the same long combo, and the same surprise hit, the next try needs a question. Black Myth: Wukong's staff combat becomes easier to learn when you separate reading the opponent from testing your answer.
Three attempts are a useful framework, not a promise of victory. Spend the first recognizing one dangerous sequence, the second testing a safe response, and the third putting that response into a longer fight. You can repeat the cycle as needed without expecting the boss to fall on schedule.
Attempt one: find the move that causes the damage
Pick the attack that repeatedly catches you. Watch what happens immediately before it: a change in posture, a step, a sound, or movement of the weapon. Concentrate on that cue long enough to distinguish it from other attacks. Reacting only when damage is already on the way makes everything feel abrupt.
Observe the whole sequence. The first swing may be followed by another, or a pause may be part of the rhythm. Notice where the boss finishes and whether you are still within reach. Your position after dodging matters because it determines both the next threat and the next opportunity.

Keep offense modest while learning. A short attack or two can maintain engagement, but a long commitment can obscure what you were trying to watch. The attempt has a purpose even if it ends quickly: you should be able to describe the cue, the sequence, and the place you want to reach next time.
Attempt two: test a response you can repeat
Take that information into the next try with one deliberate adjustment. Change when you dodge, where you move, or how long you attack afterward. Avoid changing all three unless the original approach clearly cannot work.
Start with a small punish during the recovery you identified. If it lands and you can still escape the next attack, repeat it before attempting something more ambitious. A heavy attack that works once by luck is less useful than a modest response you understand. The larger opportunity can come after the small one becomes dependable.
